Christina's Story

School Wow! High school seems so long ago! I had a blast my freshman year! I played softball and field hockey and I had so many friends. I went through a rough time my sophomore year, but junior and senior year was great! I can't forget senior prom and the limo we accidentally got that was so much cooler than the one we ordered. Senior week was fun even though it rained a lot and it was cold. Josh, Tabi, and Steve...don't forget that $25 seafood, vodka, and orange juice don't mix! I miss Mr. Collins cuz he was definitely one of the coolest teachers I had. I miss all the guidance counselors too cuz I loved being an aide and working in there. We always got breakfast and treats! It's funny because I sat down to write this and was wondering what I was going to include, but now the ideas are just flowing and I can't believe the little things that I remember from high school or from senior year specifically. I would definitely do high school all over again. I only have a few regrets, but I would fix those if I ever got to go back. I don't regret dating Steve though; I learned so much from that relationship and sometimes I'm sorry we went out seperate ways, but I'm sure he is as happy as I am right now. In high school, I only dated people I knew from school or hung out with normally. Now, I'm dating a guy that went to Northeast High School...go figure! One major thing I would change about my high school years is I wouldn't be so self-conscience. I wish I had done more things and wasn't worried about what people thought or how I looked, etc. College I know I miss Villa Julie already! I can remember gettin all decked out on Thursday nights before the club. Dancing around the apartment, half dressed and half drunk hours before we were supposed to leave. th Shawn, singing and making fun of Matt at the top of our lungs. I miss weekends, staying with Dave in my apartment and eating brunch before driving home. Freshman year was a blast when Steph and I moved all the furniture around and all Carrie's stuff out of the room so I could have it. I miss playing cards and PS2 all through a huge snow storm and a hurricane. I really appreciated Dave's help in packing everything up and helping me move out last year cuz my rents were out of town. CSI nights were always fun freshman year cuz we'd all chill in one place to watch it together. Brian and Mike's Halloween party and driving my mom's car back to my place that night. I was dressed as I don't know what, but I had a hell of a time. The parties on the weekends and getting up to go to work hungover. That's a memory right there! I can't believe I didn't stay at Villa Julie...what was I thinking? I guess it just wasn't worth the stress of never having the career I wanted and living with someone who couldn't stand me!!! Oh well, life goes on! Workplace Last summer was crazy, but I definitely made bank... I worked at North Arundel Hospital all the time, worked at Fifer's Seafood on Mondays and worked in my mom's office on Fridays and whenever the rents went on vacation. I partied with the people I worked with from the hospital sometimes and that was a blast. That's how I met Dave actually, I was at a party in Chesterfield with a girl I worked with and I took his parking spot. Weird I know, but it's been amazing ever since. This past summer, I worked a lot of different places, but some of them I only worked once or twice just to help out. Again making bank and satisfied. Maybe next year, I'll be doing something I like to do, making good money and I might even take a little vacation. I can't wait!
