Life
Let's see my life since High School, it's definitely not the way I thought it would turn out. Went to Penn State for 2 years and then to Saint Francis college got my BSN in nursing, my parents got divorced, major shocker. Then I moved to South Carolina where my fiancee was, we were going to get married I cancelled the wedding about 1 month before it,stayed there for about 2+ years got myself an apartment with my cat gidget, then moved back home to Altoona with my mom for about 6 months and worked 2 jobs, then to New Jersey I went because of a guy was with him for about 2+ years left him very bad relationship and now here I am met my husband at the hospital where I work he was picking up one of my patients to take her to nursing home. And we got married August 30,2003. I have 3 stepchildren that all live with us Nichole 19, Kimberely 17, and Christopher 13 and can't forget my dog Lexylou she ...Expand for more
is a collie (65 pds) she is my baby. My husband James is 7 years older than me and is an electrician and does anything else he is always doing some house project. And that is my life up until now in a nut shell. It's definitely been interesting and a roller coaster ride. Never a dull moment I say anymore. And trying to decide if we want to have a child. He does, me not sure 33 I'm getting old. LOL
Workplace
worked at McDonald's when I turned 16 and continued to work there even in college, worked at nursing homes as a nursing assistant and the photo lab at Giant Eagle. I have been working Med/Surg nursing now for 8 years +. Started out down in South Carolina then back to Pa. for about 6 months and now I'm in NJ at Elmer hospital have been there for 5+ years, and work also at a Drug/Alcohol Rehab for a few months, looking now to move into another part of nursing just not sure what type yet.
