Christine's Story
Life
Post-high school, I've bounced between the Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest. My husband and I have been married almost 25 years and do not have children.
School
My high school years were rough for my family and me. I made a few good friends and am grateful for the influence of Bill Tarr, my English teacher, and Mr. (Ken?) Aldridge, my German teacher. However, transitions both to and from high school were rocky. (In my mid-50s, I learned I have "the gift of ADHD" -- glaringly obvious in retros...Expand for more

College
I attended college on and off and kept changing my major. I got a Bachelor's in English and went on to earn paralegal and workplace training certificates while working in those fields. I began to work toward a Master's in Adult Education in middle age but realized -- for the second time in my life -- I would not enjoy teaching in a traditional setting..
Workplace
I've had a gazillion different jobs and done a gazillion different things, some of them well, but I'm glad to be retired.
