Christine's Story
Wow time flies. In 1981 I was looking forward to senior year at North when I learned we would be moving to California. Sr. year in a strange place was quiet. There was no music program to speak of at Cleveland HS but I made it work taking Music Composition to finish off my major.
After graduation, I moved out and lived with friends as my family moved North to Washington State with another job move for my dad.
In 1983, I joined the Marine Corp hoping for a better life. It would have been too, had I made better choices, and not followed my heart at times, and let my fears get the better of me. I married in 85, had my son Shane in 1986 and my daughter Brandie in 1987 and separated in 19...Expand for more
89 after his discharge from the Marines took us to Chicago. The kids and I moved to Washington and I was finally divorced in 1991. It was just the kids and me for the better part of the following 7 in Washington, then we moved back to California for about 6 years before packing it up again and moving to Arizona where you can find me today. After high school, Shane returned to Washington and cooler temperatures. Brandie is still here with her son Konnor, born in 2007. Did I say time flies? I can't believe he is 2 now. I don't know where the roads will take me next. I love the warmer weather here but there's apparently more to life than sunshine. Will have to update again when I know.
