Christine's Story

After 7 years, I moved to Ottawa and worked as a Stage Manager at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for 3 1/2 years. I then moved to Toronto and worked as a Stage Manager for another 3 years. hen gave up my career in theatre to care for my mother who was suffering from multiple sclerosis. I lost my Dad to the same disease in 1976. I cared for her for 2 1/2 years at home so she would not have to go into a nursing home. Following her death, I went into the nursing program at Camosun College and have since been a nurse for 28 years. A completely different career! I'm semi retired and just work 2 days a week for a Federal Government program. Have done a lot of travelling over the years and love to garden. I married in 1996 and have 3 step children and 6 grand children...all boys!
