Christine's Story
Life
I was born and raised in Jersey and lived there until High School. Then I moved to good ol' Port St. Lucie, Florida with my Mom, Dad and Sister Michelle.
At age 19 I was told that I have Lupus and other connective tissue problems. Although I was working my way through school to become a lawyer, my disease got worse and I was in a pretty bad car accident.. so combined - I had to stop working and going to school althogher. Today I volunteer with the Lupus Foundation of America and I have more than 50 surgeries under my belt (well the scars are mostly on my neck and stomach..but, you know what i mean). I have two Mastiff's, Athena and Big Papi.. For now, they are my children. I own my own home and life is ..well, it just is.
As for the rest of my family; My sister Michelle was in Germany with her Husband Chris who was Stationed there while in the US Army. When Chris left for his 15 month tour in Iraq she moved back to Florida with their daughter (while pregnent with their son). Today, they are both safely home in Florida. Michelle is pregnent with their 3rd and working as a nurse while her husband is now serving the US government once again as a local Police Officer.
My Mom and Dad are still going strong and my dad is Still a Police Officer. That is about everything.
