Christopher's Story
So much has happened over the years! After high school, did the college bit, then life really started moving. Hitchhiked all over Europe for 4 months, and got hooked on travel. On to grad school, during which I traveled every summer and winter, doing crazy things like hitchhiking across the Sahara. So many stories. Forty-plus countries so far. Got my Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, then moved out to San Diego to do a post-doc in global warming research. Even more travel! Got to do three oceanographic research cruises. Amazing experiences. ntarctica. In the meantime, studied ballroom dancing for a number of years - one of my teachers, Mary Murphy, is on some TV show now. Funny to see her there.
Changed from academia to industry, and worked on a prototype medical imaging device - google "babySQUID". Went to the Santa Fe Institute's Complex Systems Summer School, which was a phenomenal experience. Since then I've started up a biotech company for proteome analytics, and so far its going well.
I get back to Chelmsford every now and then, its good to visit family and old friends. Look me up and say hi!
