Life Well I graduated in 1981 damn near last in the class. When I got out of highschool I took a couple years off before starting college. Tried to go to school at Oakton CC. that lasted about one year,didn't do too bad. I was trying to get into Illinois State and had to wait until spring. So I started working fo a temp agency for the flexable hours and was working for Bell&Howell Columbia Picture in like Glenview of Wheeling I can't remember.I had only been there for a few months when they started asking me to work for them,I first said no I was waiting to go back to school. Then the offers got better and better until I caved. I started working in the duplication house making VHS cassettes in the QA dept. After about 6 months I went into the production Dept. making the tapes of movies like Raider of the Lost Arc and Flash Dance. After working there for a year I was transfered to California to open a duplication house there and was promised a supervisor job as well. So I went to Southern California/Newport Beach with 2 other guys I worked with. We all lived in the same house just a few steps from the ocean,very nice. I worked for Columbia Picture there for about 3 yrs until I was let go,I was devistated. I worked a few odd jobs and collected unemployment for about a year just surfing and partying way too much,wild times. I finally had enough of the drugs and the fony poeple and called my father and told him I wanted out of here and was going to go back to college. My father lived in Connecticut now so I just left everything,my girlfriend,roommates,all of my belongings and hopped on a plain to Hartfod Ct..Man what a life change this was,alls I did that whole summer is veg out at my father's pool.
