Life
Christopher D. Rees
Grew up in New Castle, De, and attended William Penn High School.
After attending the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a major in Graphic Design, and subsequently graduating from Delaware Technical & Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice, I followed in my father's law enforcement footsteps, and became a New Castle County Police Officer.
Being a member of the County Police was by far the most rewarding job I ever had, and I'll always miss being a part of that great organization. I have a lot of friends there, and I keep in touch as much as possible. While there I attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, The FBI Academy in Quantico, VA, Forensic Facial Imaging School in Scottsdale, AZ and others. I worked in a number of capacities, including the patrol division, crime analysis division, and Criminal Investigation Unit (Detectives). My work in CIU revolved around investigating computer-related crimes.

I left the department in 2000 however, to pursue several passions which include entrepreneurship, technology, and creative arts (web design, graphic design, etc).
A strong computer background led me into the information technology industry, and I earned my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), CompTIA A+, Network+ and Server+ certifications, as well as Cisco CCNA and CCNP. Needless to say I've firmly entrenched in technology ever since. In 2006 I started my own company, Palaestra Training, which creates computer based training for the IT Certification arena.
I have a number of talented trainers from around the country creating excellent training products for us, and it's been a great experience thus far.
I am married to an awesome woman, Karen, and have been truly blessed with wonderful children. They provide incredible support to me, in all aspects of my life, and provide me with all the ambition and motivation I need to succeed.
