Christopher's Story

I always wanted to be a Cowboy when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a interesting idea. As it turns out, they were right. I don't get to ride horses much now as I am working hard on my career and comuting. I still love two-way radio competition and shooting targets. The wildest thing I ever did in school was to drive my car from the passenger side on McKinley's Plaza parking lot which made everyone think that the car was driving itself. LOL. People still ask me how I made the car do that. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a good team, rest, and faith to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero is Jesus Christ and I try my best to walk in his footsteps. I spent most of my life in Washington, DC and moved to Washington State with then my wife. We are separated now and soon will be divorced. Just working through the issues associated with the children. Washington is beautiful and a great place to raise kids. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mary Brown (Vice Principal), because she cared. As aforementioned, I am obsessed with animals and electronics. You will find me in the field with my horses or in my electronics room talking on my ham set or CB. I also like to put music together to DJ and work on my computer. Finally, I help people with achieving their educational goals and am the Chairman of the Board of Directors for my church's non-profit organization. My biggest surprise has been to get shot and later stabbed. I died and was brought back to life in Washington Hospital's Shock Trauma Center after having a spiritual experience on the other side! Wired stuff but it centers me in my quest to help children who are pulled into the streets to survive. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my garage and add on a two bay RV garage. My dream home would be the one in Washington with a few changes LOL. As it relates to parenting, I have learned that you can't just be your child's friend. You must be their parent. My Advance English teacher, Ms. Guyton has left an everlasting impression on me which I use to guide my writing. I would love to thank her and allow her to see one of the two books I have written. If I won $100 million, I'd give $25 million of it to my mother, then spend the rest on buying more land, more horses and investments. hat to do and how to think. I like to choose my own path after being educated on my options. To be truly happy I would have my family and friends close by exploring the world with unlimited resources. I would have my family fully secured and make way for the dream of growing old with the ones I love. My current age is 46. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be set in their ways. I was so completely wrong. I worked hard in the mental health field which revealed my aspirations to become the best human service provider in my field. I have no idea of the whereabouts of my first crush. It happened in the 2nd grade and I left the school the next year. Her name was Jammie C. My best friend would tell you I'm extraordinary, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as giving. My style is casual as I like to be ready for anything at any time and comfortable when doing anything. I do dress up when appropriate to do so. The weirdest job I ever had was working for my father's security company at age 12. All of the adults thought I was 18. I share the home of my best friend through my transition. He moved all the way from D.C. to work in the same agency I work. I have swimming and two-way communication trophies. I have many awards in the human services field and I am on the International Honor Society for Social Sciences (Pi Gamma Mu). If I had it all to do over I would change nothing as the encapsulation of all my experiences is what make me who I am today. In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by working hard. I met my best friend at PHP Healthcare in Washington, DC. Darryl and I later went to school together to earn our master's degrees and worked at several agencies together. We both now live in Washington and work for Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration. We have been friends since 1985. Everyone would be surprised to know that after living for over 40 years in Washington, DC that I now live in a small town called Naselle. I am a country boy at heart. My first job was at my own company, where I got paid $5 per yard to cut grass. What I remember most about it is hard work earns respect. My biggest childhood memory was watching my father ride a horse into Brentwood Village when I was 5. He put on a Western show to my amazement and I always wanted to do that now I put on my own shows but no one watches but God.
