Chuck's Story
After school I joined the Coast Guard. After the Coast Guard I jumped around at many things until about 1983 when I moved to Walnut Creek, CA and started working in the cable TV industry. I did this in CA and AZ until 2002. I finally found where I wanted to be for the rest of my life here in Eastern Oregon outside of the small town of Prairie City. ounge (the old bar being my living room). My sister and her husband own it and I am watching it for them until they retire from the military. I work seasonally for the Forest Service doing range work, fences, weeds, wild horses, springs and stuff like that. The Malheur NF is my office and it is great.
