Cinda's Story
Life
HI! I'm a registered nurse and have worked in several different areas of nursing. Most of my years were spent Labor & Delivery, but the last few years I've worked in the ER--first at Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio (where we've lived for the last 20yrs) and now I'm currently working in the ER at Fayette Memorial Hospital back in "good ole Washington CH, Ohio! My husband, Charles, and I have been married for 31yrs. He's been in law enforcement for almost 30years--first in Greenville, SC where we lived after getting married until I "dragged him up to Ohio" in 1991! He is a police officer in Circleville. We have 4 children. Our oldest are a set of 29yr-old twins that are both serving in the armed forces. Charlie is a US Marine and Jessie is in the Navy--both are stateside for the moment, at least! Charlie recently completed a tour in Afghanistan and they have both served in Iraq a couple years ago. We also have a 20-yr-old son, Connor, and a 14-yr-old daughter, Alex (OOPS!). Connor is also serving in the Marine Corps. He's been stationed in Washington DC for the past 2years, but is on his way this week to report to Camp LeJuene, NC. He will likely be deployed somewhere overseas later this winter. Alex is a freshmen at Circleville High School where she is an honors student and active in Band and Art Club. We also have 2 GRANDCHILDREN (are we really that old?! LOL). Jessica has been m...Expand for more
arried for almost 3years to Patrick Donaldson. He is Australian and was working as a chef for the royal family in Bahrain when they met (she was stationed there for a year in 2006) but we're turning him into an AMERICAN! (I told him we weren't rich enough to come to Australia to visit our grandchildren!). They have one son, Bryce, who was born in December, 2009. He is PERFECT (of course! lol). Charlie has one daughter, Amelia, who was born in April 2009. (she is PERFECT also, of course!). We were so lucky to be able to have her with us while Charlie was in Afghanistan from Dec 2010 until July 2011. It was hard to "give her back" when he returned home.....we miss her so much....but it was good to catch up on some sleep! LOL (I realized just how "old" we were when we started chasing after an 18-month-old again!! WHEW!)
I think about my high-school days often--especailly since 3 of our 4 have graduated from high school, and I love to hear from people from "my past"! I'm easy to find on FaceBook (of course! LOL), so look me up and say HI! I hope life is treating you all as well as it has treated me. God is too GOOD!
Workplace
I have been an RN since 1979. Most of my nursing career has been in the field of OB/GYN (and most all of that in Labor & Delivery), but I am working in the Emergency Room now. I did work for a few months in a youth intake prison.........interesting, to say the least.
