Cindi's Story
Started out in Fresno, am now in Orange, CA (right next to Disneyland!!). Am married to a great guy that I met online (don't believe all the horror stories!) through a motorcycle dating site. My youngest daughter lives with us - she's now 18 - gee do I feel oldish!!! We will eventually be moving to Oroville, CA where we have a 5 acre property. I do get back to Fresno every 6 months or so to visit the grandkids (for those of you who knew me at Fresno High, they...Expand for more
are Shauna's kids). Last year, I was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma and have been undergoing treatment since. The original tumor was found in my leg, but had started to spread to my lungs when I was diagnosed. After undergoing months of chemo, I had two surgeries to remove the main tumor and to explore my lungs and get out the cancer there.
As of Feb 17th of 2009 I am officially in remission - yeah!!!!! - but will still need a couple rounds of follow-up chemo.
