Mortgage Secretary & Teller at WaMU
UW - research secretary; process server, grocery clerk (oh boy - anything to earn money)
Group Home counselor - learned more bad words than I did at UW
Substitute teacher - all over Oregon and California States
QA/QC in nuclear power plants - inspection and training
FINALLY - high school counselor for past 18 years.... love it!
School
Mr. Anderson, biology teacher, inspired me to become a biology teacher too. Never gave up - got that degree at UW, but only did substitute teaching in biology - eventually became a counselor.

- synchronized swimming - what a hoot. Hated Geometry (how did I get into college without advanced math??) I was in Chem - don't remember anything, but I did learn that the juniors knew how to party.
College
Attended Bellevue Community right out of HS (thought I was going to go to WSU, but parents moved to Seattle) - then transferred to UW for biology teaching degree - minors in Sociology and PE. Too many teachers when I graduated, sooooo did counseling in a group home in Oregon (after working as a real estate secretary for a year in Seattle - God awful experience).
Did Grad work at Cal Poly Tech in San Luis Obispo, CA...
