Cindy's Story
Life
I am excited to now be working in a profession I have always wanted to...with a Veterinarian, and I LOVE it!
I have been in the Santa Cruz County area for 30 years.
I used to work for a gift novelty company collecting money. I loved it.
I went to school to be a teacher but found it didn't pay enough.
I got lucky with my 2 kids. My daughter Janell is 30 and a RN studying to be a Nurse Practitioner. My 27 year old son, Lucas,(extremely cool) is a Machinist. I am proud of them and my accomplishments.
I never had much luck with relationships. Some times I have them, sometimes I don't.
My life growing up wasn't the greatest. I had some friends, but mostly, I felt overlooked. I remember SO many people.
My family moved alot.
We moved to San Clemente in about '66 fro...Expand for more
m the San Diego area (Clairmont). Went to Ole Hansen Ele for a short time then to Las Palmas Ele. from 3rd grade to 6th when we moved to San Juan Capistrano. I took Choir 3yrs and Violin (6 mo's) at LPE.
I remember my teacher Mr. Michael Cole (3rd or 4th grade?).
I also remember Mrs. Zeiss. She taught me Linguistics very well. I was into Spelling Bees. Still spell like a freak!I also remember Mrs Sweeney.
I remember Marco Forester School. I loved Art class, Drama and Home Ec.
I remember shoveling horse manure 8 hours a day just to be able to ride 1 hour at the end of the day at Rockys Riding Stables in SJC.
I miss my friends from there, Lisa, Tracy, Annie & Suzi, Pegi, Terri, and more.
I remember eating 17 oranges one day while horse back riding in the orange groves.
