Cindy's Story
Life
After leaving High School, I undertook my nurse training at St Joseph's Hospital Toronto where I continued to work after graduating. After a year I left to work in the haemodialysis unit at the Wellesley Hospital, Toronto before leaving for England in January 1971 for one year!!
I worked as a Ward Sister at St Mary's Paddington London before meeting my husband. Here I am, all these years later,still in the UK with husband (same one!), two daughters - one who has completed a BSc(Hons) in Mental Health Nusing and another who has a BA(Hons) in History & Politics at University of Liverpool (the hometown of The Beatles), living in London and is studying to be a tax adviser.

I live in a small town (Markdale-size)about 3 miles from the city in a Victorian house (1850) which we have been doing-up and have almost completed.
I have just retired after working as a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at DeMontfort University in Leicester (pronounced Lester) for 29 years. We have just welcomed our first grandchild Jessica (11 October 2010) so I have retired at just the right time.
I would love to hear from any of my old school friends and would be so pleased if any of you decided to come to this side of the Atlantic for a holiday.
