Hi everyone,
I was previously married, for sixteen years. I am currently single and chose not have children. After high school, I earned degrees in psychology and social work, at Sacramento State University. For the past 25 years, I have worked in social servces, with developmentally disabled adults, severely emotionally disturbed children and I currently work with abused children, at a government agency. I have done extensive volunteer work with children and animals, including Juvenile Corrections and Animal Outreach. I own a small ranch, with a small lake and year round creek, in the foothills above Sacramento and my property is devoted to animal rescue, primarily horses...Expand for more
and potbelly pigs. Due to my love for animals, I have been vegetarian for 33 years. In additional to the horses and Potbelly pigs, I also have cats and dogs, as well as the wildlife (deer, racoons, coyotes, possum) that wonder through my property. I enjoy travel, boating, whitewater rafting, horsebackriding (especially on nearby state park trails), sabre fencing, concerts, the theater and fairs/ festivals. I work hard and play hard, burning off lots of calories and as a result, I am still petite. I have remained friends (since age 4) with Denise Sanchez-Hume, who still lives in Davis and she is my touchstone, keeping me up to date on former classmates who still live in Davis.
