Cindy's Story

Life I married in 1981 to a man I had been with since I was 16, we had 2 boys. James is now 24 and Shane is 18. I was divorced in 1992 and met someone else in 93. We were together 8 years and went through a 2 year separation before getting back together 3 years ago. He has a 23 year old daughter who is a real sweetheart I love her to death. We now have 3 more kids LOL, Shade and Shadow are of the feline persuation and 4 years old. Booer is a person in a long little doggie suit (Daschound) and 3 years old all are spoiled rotten I moved to OR in 1986 and have been in the same small town since then I HATE moving School Hmmm, My first love was Eddie Mcphail from Gerber, 4th grade I think. We used to chase only each other when one of us was IT when playing tag. My best friends through grade school were Kyle Smith and later Irene Blunkall. At Bidwell it was Candy Lauderbaugh. 8th grade was tough, we moved 3 times. I went to Gerber, Bidwell, and Evergreen. At RBH it was Laura Bloss. My sophmore year we again moved 3 times I went to RB, Corning and Yreka high schools. The end of my sophmore year I went to live with my dad in Southern Cal and spent my last 2 years ...Expand for more
at Tustin High Lavette Blazer and Peggy Garrett were great we made one heck of a 3 man volleyball team. Would I do it all again? Another good question. I would love to go back and do some of it over again if it didn't change who I am now unless it was for the better Workplace I worked off and on for my dad during the summer detailing the inside of a charter bus until shortly before my oldest son was born. I was a stay at home mom until 1992, where I went to work in a garage door manufacturing plant. They were bought out in 1994 and the plant closed. I then went to industrial sewing for police and fire departments making uniforms, EMT bags etc. I was with them 3 1/2 years before going to a huge book warehouse, I've been there almost 8 years, usually like my job and get along well with my co workers. It is now 2011, not much has changed , I still live in the same small town and am still with the man I met in 1993. The boys are now men 29 and 24, unemployed and living at home. I too am unemployed at this time I was with the book warehouse until last Nov. After 12 years they let me go and it feels really strange to be looking for work at this stage in my life.
