Claudette's Story
Okay. In a nutshell... I've hitched across more countries than I ever expected to. I've seen the best of humanity and the worst along the way. With my second education, I found a rewarding and stimulating profession. My first education gave me many opportunities to grow through struggling. I've jumped from the airplane when I felt the desire to do so. I've had no personal barriers to my creative pursuits. I've lost close family to death, and I've made new family through birth. Some is cliche, yet most is atypical. Every bit has been a pleasure and an honour. Especially... the marriage to my husband Brian, and the recent birth of our daughter Elisabeth. And we're expecting our second in late summer 2009. Maybe it's because I've had such a fulfilling life until this point, that I felt the ability to be so giving to new life. Where am I now? We live in Denmark. I was living and working there when I met my husband Brian. Brian is a trombonist with the Danish National Symphony. He was a prodigy and found himself at the top of his field at only 18. He now has 17 years into his position. With a lifetime appointment, he has another 30 years ahead of him. So few of us are rewarded when it comes to our passions and talents. Elisabeth was born July 2008. She will be surrounded with a stimulating environment of arts, music, languages, and travel... she already is. So many of her personality traits are emerging. I love learning about her spirit and temperament. It's fabulous to learn who she is becoming and it's certainly just beginning. We have another wise spirit growing right now. We'll get to meet this new person in September 2009.
