Claudia's Story
Life
US Marine.
My Pets: I have 2 pitbulls, a wiemaraner, 2 gerbils, & 1 bird.
My Job is fun: I tell men what to do and get PAID for it!!
School
Mr. Zucker was the BEST english teacher I ever had. He inspired me to do better, and thought outside the box when it came to assignments.
I think Chris Ashley was my biggest crush, because he was my first "real" boyfriend in HS. Then, of course, would be Rodney Royal. I still think of both of them often and wish I knew what they were up to...
It's weird how I saw two people from HS in the Marine Corps: one in NC and one in CA. THAT was a shocker!
Then, when I was in New Orleans, Dana Massey came out to see me! That was so much fun. Drive thru margaritas!!
College
Well, I started college part time because my family couldn't afford any more than that and I was working, too. Then, once I joined the Marine Corps (to help pay for college) I took a 5 yr break from it. I then went back to college, and after a total of 15 years (most at the part time level), I finally graduated on the Dean's list! I am the only one in my family to go to college. So, that in itself is an accomplis...Expand for more

Workplace
My goodness. I've worked in so many places. From a surgeon's office in Boca Raton, movie theater, to an insurance office in San Diego, Moreno Valley, and Perris, CA; to the Military, to Wal-Mart, Georgia-Pacific as the HR Assistant then the Maintenance Planner, to now my own company. I have definitely done a lot of things. I can even drive an 18-wheeler!! Yes, I do have my CDL. Need a job?? Call me!
Military
Ah, the military. I'd recommend if for everyone! Freedom isn't free, and it cannot always be someone else's son/daugher!
I chose the Marine Corps for two reasons: one, to help pay for college. Two: I wanted to BE something for the rest of my life not IN something for a short time. Once a Marine - Always a Marine. I'm not as mean, not as lean, but I'm STILL a Marine!
I loved most of my time in the USMC. I loved my job, most of the people, and none of the runs! LOL It taught me a lot about myself and other people.
I got injured, and had to get out. But, I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN in a heartbeat! I miss it. I met alot of good people. PLT 4014 ROCKS! OOH RAH!! CLP gets out rust - does it not?!
