Claudia's Story
Love the outdoors and being active. I am an avid cyclist, both road and mountain biking. Involved with trail maintenance in the hills around San Luis Obispo. Enjoy friends and times together. Have returned to school every few years, have a B.A., M.A., and now a J.D.
In 2005, I left SLO County to live in the world outside of this paradise. Moved to Sonoma County and worked as a public school administrator. l on the coast of Mendocino County. July of 2011 I returned to San Luis Obispo County and worked as a school district administrator for two years. I retired as of July 1, 2013. Yea. And, I am so happy to be "home" in northern San Luis Obispo County.
I am an orchardist as I have over 30 fruit trees of all sorts. I enjoy tending to them, drying the fruit, giving away fruit, and having something to eat right from a tree from May through November. I garden in my 5 raised beds and truly enjoy this lifestyle of growing my own food, living where there are stars instead of street lights, and living in a town where quality of life is important and valued.
