Life: Incubated in 1943, born in '44' before "D" day in Europe, lived through WW II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Cold War and the Gulf War. I am not a Yuppie, Guppie, Hippie or whatever. Our schools graduating class (62') motto was: "Beat to a different drum". I have certainly done that! Went to schools in California, Nevada, Nebraska, Georgia and Germany. I have lived in California, Colorado, Geogia, Nebraska, Alaska, Korea, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Belgium. I worked for and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad, Corporate HQs, Omaha, NE. This includes its subsidiaries: Western Pacific RR and the Southern Pacific RR. I retired from the military in 1995 with 32 years of service, both active and reserve. I retired again from Federal Civil Service (FERS) where I worked on Offutt AFB with USSTRATCOM in the NC3 center (nuclear, command, control and communions center. And yes there is a "RED" phone I thankfully only had to use once to pass a CRITIC.(critical intelligence). Before that I worked in "AMWC" Alternate Missile Warning Center at Offutt/USSTRATCOM. (Backup for NORAD). There are 2 daughters; one in Tennessee (mine) and one in Nebraska (ours), and 2 sons; both in California. We have 11 grand babies and Great Grand Daughter due in May 2022 As the saying goes: "I would rather wear out than rust out". PS: We purchased another 33' Class A (Newmar) motor home in 2014. Traded in the other. RV:. .sold .RV. Thank God! No more camping, only motel or hotel. Done with costs and repairs.. Home is where the heart is. My wife Bonnie and I live in Bellevue, Nebraska, a bedroom community of 50k, ten miles south of Omaha. And NO it is not flat here.
