Colin's Story
Well I have finished college and am trying to figure out the next steps. I have one child named Christopher who was born on april 26th 2004. ome of you would remember me from middle school as the fat kid with the brittish accent who sang in all the choirs and got on everyones nerves. I did not like how I acted in middle school, I am such a better person now, but those are the most confusing times in a persons life. When I moved to DC I went to Duke Ellington High school or the arts. I love that school so much and wish I could do it all over again. This time I would take it a lot more seriously. Some of you would remember me from High school as the tall white kid in the vocal music dept. Life has gone in very interesting directions since school. Mr O'brien inspired me the most in High school. He was such a great teacher. If I could do High school all over I would, Middle school was hell for me. I would only go back and do it again if I knew what I know now. Middle school crazy moments, lets see, I was jumped and thrown in a flooded bathroom in the gym. I loved singing in the choir and being in the plays. High school had so many memories like the time the school was shut down right before spring breaks due to fire code violations. was crazy fitting 500 kids in a auditorium trying to have English class with dance class with Spanish class, with vocal tech. It didn't work very well and we ended up with a 5 week spring break. Then there was the year with the million bomb threats. The time we had spirit week and Charles dressed up as the crow and jumped from the hole on the second floor right into the gallery. The crazy crew moments that I can't reveal. The winter ball was great. Oh yeah, in ninth grade in home room I had my hair braided and then me and a couple of my boys skipped class and went to Georgetown university. We ended up getting caught by the campus police. We ended up running and I was went into the bathroom. The security guard came into the bathroom but buy that point I had taken the braids out. On the security guards radio I heard that they were looking for four black guys. Being that I was white and my friends were black, I thought it was funny that they thought I was black cause of my hair. I ended up getting caught by my principal who was called over to the university. It was so funny after all of that escaping and hiding that I got caught by her. There was also the time that me and a couple of people went to pizza hut during lunch and were caught by the truancy police. We were taken to Lincoln middle school where we sat there for hours and then were sent back to school on a bus with tinted windows. It was funny and a complete waste of time.
