Colin's Story
Life
I have been married for 23 years to my wife Louise. Since we have been married we have lived in Roxbury Township (Berkshire Valley). I have 4 children. 2 Girls and 2 boys. My daughter Erin the oldest attends Rowan University and is a junior majoring in Business. She is an honors student who is on the Deans list. My younger daughter Megan just graduated from Roxbury high school. She will be going to CCM to get her vetenarian technicians degree and then probably transfer from there to a four year school. The boys (Sean and Christopher) are in 11th and 8th grade. As typical for their age they enjoy sports and video games. They both run track and cross country.
Some of you may remember my younger sister Tracy. She lives in Arkansas with her husband and two daughters. Her oldest is married (Tracy is going to be a grandma later this year) and her youngest starts college next year. My Mom (school bus driver for many of you in Denville) ...Expand for more
moved out there with Tracy a few years back after my Dad passed away and she is doing very well. she just turned 82 God bless her. I drive out to see them every summer.
My best friends remain today the same as in high school which I am grateful for and I still keep in touch with alot of my closest friends from back then. The internet is a great thing.
Workplace
I worked for Sandoz than Novartis Pharmaceuticals after the merger for 25 years until I was laid off in 2003. I worked at Abbott Labs in Whippany as a production supervisor for 2 years, they were scheduled to close in 2008 so I left there in May of 2006 to work at KOS Pharmaceuticals in Edison.Irony would have it, Abbott bought out KOS 3 months after I got there and now they are scheduled to close where I work in Edison, NJ the end of 2008. Yea even to me its funny so it is ok to laugh. Just waiting for the end to get my severance and then we will see what happens from there.
