My Pets
We adopted a pound puppy! Why on earth did we go from a well-trained German Shepard to an untrained, excitable Lab cross? Comparisons, people, we didn't want the new dog to be compared to the old one, and this way, there's NO CHANCE that will happen! Actually, in 3 months, she's gone from untrained to partially trained. She loves doing tricks (in fact, she'll do anything for food) and she will sit and stay on command. Great progress for a pound puppy!
We still one lonely guinea pig, he belongs to our daughter, and the new dog hasn't eaten him (yet!).
Wow, almost a year!
My husband and I will celebrate one year of marriage May 7th, and we both say ...Expand for more
that we love each other more today than yesterday.
My Kids
I have SIX of the best kids in the world, my daughter is 13, she got all the best parts of me (and I want them back, darn it!!) but she also got her height and blonde hair from her Dad's side. My son is 15, a skateboard FREAK, and cuter than either of his parents ever hoped of being. My new husband has brought 4 more great kids into our new family, his son is almost 13, his daughters are 10, 9, and 6, and we are blessed because we get to see them almost every weekend.
My Job
I started working for AOL in February and I love it. After 10 years with a consulting company, it's nice to be home every night.
