Connie (Cornelia)'s Story
Born in Vancouver General Hospital, moved to Burnaby in grade two. Got married at 16 divorced by 21. Three years later I met Peter and we have been together since 1984 - happily married. I have a total of 6 children, 2 natural and 4 step. They live across Canada from BC to Ontario. I have 6 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren living in Ontario. In 1980 I moved from BC to Edmonton, then Red Deer, and Botha AB. In 1987 we moved to eastern Ontario, Picton, for 15 years, Mississauga for 4. Then we sold everything, purchased a 24 foot travel trailer - living as full time RVers since April 2005 and loving every minute. t 2008 we quit and moved to another campground and I started working 2 part time jobs - one as Visitor Services in the local Museum. We still live in our trailer and travel in our 72 Westfalia on our days off. We live on the ocean and enjoy watching the cruise ships, barges, marine life, Eagles, and other wildlife. We live by the motto that the only constant is that we can change our minds any day! We love our lifestyle!
Update 2021 - my husband developed dementia in 2014. I am now working a couple my own businesses from home so I can be his full time caregiver. We still live in our RV, same location. No more travels. The Westy was sold and we bought a 29 foot travel trailer that we still live in. We still love our lifestyle.
