Connie's Story
Life
I married Dan Hosner of Oxford, MI on September 18, 2004. He's a diesel mechanic that graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College in 2001. We have 2 bulldogs - Boozer & Pudge, and a cat, Libby who are our only 'children' as of date.
We moved to Colorado in January 2004 for a couple of months, but decided to move back to Michigan in June 2005. It's a decision I was pretty confident with at the time, but as time has gone on, I kinda wished we would have stayed there.
Dan and I love to travel. We love to go on vacations and visit new places. Dan has his SCUBA diving certification and has been diving when he can. We went to Maya Riviera last December and Dan went diving in Cozumel. This year he is going to Santa Barbara in July to go diving with my Dad.
We don't have any kids yet. One thing I've learned is that you cannot control nature - no matter how hard you try! It's been a long struggle that has proven to be very trying, but we're working through it.
School
I went t...Expand for more
o Holly High School from 1995-2000 and to Oakland Technical Center North East from 1998-2000.
College
Graduated from Macomb Community College in 2004 with a degree in Computer Networking.
I am now going back to schoool (still Macomb) to pursue nursing. I find out in March if I was accepted into the program or not.
Workplace
Directly after high school I started to work for a day care facility and was soon offered a job at Fischer Automotive Systems. I worked there fore 3 1/2 years at a job that I honestly loved, but some things take you in different directions.
I then moved on to work for the Michigan Renaissance Festival as the food and beverage coordinator. The hours were greuling and left little time for family during the summer, so I decided to move on once again.
I'm now working for a marine repair company in Oxford, but it's only seasonal, so I'm looking for something more permenant. I enjoy my job, but having 5 months off during the year is starting to get boring :o)
