Cory's Story
Met a great lady in my early 20's and decided to go to school to earn enough to support us. Been married 11 years (4/08) and have 2 cats and an awesome English Bulldog named Winston. Not to long ago the wife and I both went nuts and decided to get our MS in Physical Therapy at the same time and believe it or now we are still married ;-)
She's the smart one and as all you remember I just pretty much coasted through high school. Until I realized I wasn't going to make it as a big league pitcher, school was never a priority for me as I'm sure you all can verify! After that I all of a sudden become interested in school (crazy huh!). In both of my degrees I graduated with a 3.95 (honest!).
I'm still into sports cars (those of you that remember I had one in high school). I finally found the car I've always wanted, 1989 Porsche 944 turbo. It came out our senior year but I was obviously too poor to own it then. Unfortunately between work and other things I don't get to drive it much, but it looks great in the garage!
Currently I'm just getting back from traveling and working in the SW Oregon coast for the last year with my wife. Best time of my life! A must see if you can! The wife and I are currently buildi...Expand for more
ng a house on a small lake just North of Niles, MI. I've dabbled a little bit in rental properties on the side and have had some financial success with it but am getting tired of the bother so we are looking to get out of that for good. Hopefully that will free me up to spend more time with Winston and to drink more (do you ever have enough time?) ;-)
After marriage I pretty much lost track of all LPHS contacts. I only keep in touch with a couple of childhood friends from Fish Lake. Haven't talked to anybody in a long while (are you reading this Matt Towne? Mr. move to Westville and don't' even call me!)
It's so crazy how we lose touch. The only buddy I've talked to post graduation was Matt. Last time I heard from Chris Malstaff's mom he married a girl I knew named Elsie from Westville and moved to Atlanta (I think) and was selling insurance. But other than running into Matt Shuster (sp?) at the UP mall once about 7 years ago - that's it! Wait - I take that back, I ran into Eddie Dubbs at Family Video in Laporte about 5 years ago. Anyway - what the hell is Jeff Anderson doing these days?
