Cory's Story

Life My life...in 4000 characters or less..I would say that I have had an awesome life, with trials and challenges like everyone else. Everyone has their own cross to bare..just different shapes and different sizes. School went well for me. After I graduated I went into my bad girl days for a couple of years, and had lots of fun working at White Spot, North Road. Finally I got into Air Canada which was my dream since I had been 14. I gave up the travel industry after marrying at 24, and when I was to have my 1st son. I had 4 boys within 4 1/2 years...crazy days. Thank goodness I had a lot of energy. In 1997 I began my career in Real Estate, staying with the town I grew up in, Coquitlam. I work for Royal Lepage Sterling, and my name was Corinna Gronning, and finally I am now Cory O'Brien. I love it! My 2nd eldest, Richard, was killed in a skateboard/car accident when he was 9, ...Expand for more
in August 1998. 8 months later I was separated, and we divorced a couple years later. In March 2003 I remarried to an American. In August of 2004 we had our 1st child...finally a girl. She is such a blessing! That makes a total of 5 children and now I am finished. The boys are all older now. In 2010 I divorced once again. December 2017 I became a Grandma to my eldest, Christopher and Adeline's twins into the world! A boy and a girl!!! I am enjoying my successful career in Real Estate and my wonderful family! I have my house in Coquitlam (which I love!), and also have a short term rental in part of it. I still keep in touch with many people from my school years, all the way back to when I first started kindergarten!
