Craig's Story
Life
Made a twenty-five year career of the US Army, retiring after returning from deployment to the Persian Gulf. Married in 1969 to a world traveling Texan with whom I had a daughter. Now living single. My wife, Gayle, died of brain cancer (glioblastoma) in June 1996. Got to be a single dad for a couple of years then packed our daughter off to college. She remains my lifeline. Sep - 2003. l shortly. Mar - 2005. Closer I am. Moved to a lake house near Shreveport, LA about 18 mos ago.
5 yrs later -- Still in the "lake house" actually more an old fishing camp cabin. It nearly floated away this fall with extraordinarily heavy rains. Charlotte is still in Shreveport but with three boys and now a daughter on the way. I am excited about a granddaughter as are jason and charlotte. In 2008 my pool team went to Vegas for national amatuer team championships and we all had a blast -- and made a few bucks along the way! I would like to do that again some day.
