Life
Where to start! ... well, I left Kimberley after graduation; went to UVIC; started work in Vancouver with Bank of Montreal. Married Rosemary in 1972 (and to my amazement she still puts up with me). Moved north to Whitehorse with the BofM, and first son came along in 1976. Got tired of being an Accountant so joined the Yukon Government as a Personnel Officer. Went back to Vancouver when second son about to arrive, and joined ICBC. the frozen North we decided to emigrate Down Under, and we came to New Zealand. We returned to Victoria for a few years in the early 1990's, but came back Down Under. Career-wise, I stayed in personnel/human resources, in NZ spending 6 years as HR Manager for Television New Zealand (the NZ equivalent of the BBC)and about 3 years ago decided to try local government, and am the GM Human Resources for Bay of Plenty Regional Council based in Tauranga NZ.
Our older son (Iain) is living in Osaka Japan, and the younger (Cory) is now living in Melbourne and we now have a granddaughter and grandson. .
