Hello old friends we are hoping to make a retirement stay in Wisconsin summer 2018. We miss Summerfest, WI State Fair, Milwaukee Zoo, Farm Technology (Progress) Days and all things WI. Rest assured we won't be hanging till the subzero hits I have had enough of that! I now live in Umatilla, OR if anyone knows where that is! Believe it or not it's a desert climate with less than 7 inches of rain per year. It's great fun seeing and reading these names from my past--I had a great time in New Berlin schools! Story of my life: "Mr. Bean Goes To Church" (google it) Does anyone remember the "New Berlin Teen Center'? What fun we had there in the summer! OK here goes: My parents moved from NB when I was between my sophomore yr at college. I never returned. I finished grad school at UW, worked in Ashland, WI a coupla yrs for the UW. Got married, moved to Marshfield, WI for the UW, went farming, had two beautiful kidz, spent 20 plus yrs under the cows! Sold the cows not the farm, got div, went back to the UW, then the USDA-ARS, then headed out to WA for a new life! I know WAY too old for this but what the heck, I'm with...Expand for more
