Crissie's Story
Life
Hey all! So much has happened in the 11 years since I moved from WA to VA! To make a long story short, I got married when I was way too young, (19). Had a baby when I was 22, (he's now entering the 1st grade and doing great). His name is Collin. I got divorced 4 years ago, and just got remarried 2 months ago. (July 9, 05)
I am an Interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I work for Fairfax County Public Schools, and this will be my 3rd year there. I love my job and can't imagine doing anything else. I work at the high school level and I'm so glad I'm not a high schooler any more.
Other than that, I am still taking classes to finish up by BA in Int...Expand for more
erpreting. I have my A.A. in ASL (American Sign Language).
My husband and I bought a house last year, and we are in the process of renovating it. I realized how much I enjoy painting! (yeah right!) I live 15 miles outside of D.C. and we go into the city frequently.
My husband works for NIH (National Institute of Health) in Bethesda, MD. He is an IT Security Specialist. Don't ask what he does exactly because I still havn't figured it out.
I would love to chat online via email with any of my old friends from Mt. View. I moved my sophmore year, but grew up with a lot of you at Hearthwood and Pacific, then Wy'East. Email me if you get a chance.
