Crystal's Story
I started FCC back on August of 1986, the first classes I took were introduction to first aid with Mr. Stanley, it was during the taking of this class I broke my little toe on my left foot!! I also took introduction to Journalism with Mr. Kennedy who thought the only good journalist was a male journalist and he considered Connie Chung a great female journalist, and he said Barbra Walters was not a journalist at all, Kennedy had a major chip on his shoulder with regards to us females in his class, out of all us girls only one got a passing grade and that was Lesley, all of the guys got A's and B's!!!!, and Math 70, the teacher didn't give you no help at all on...Expand for more
any of the problems!! as well as English53/55 with Mr. Scambray, he was and is a great teacher he took the time to explain everything about the curriculumn, he used to say", I am the great Scambray, who knows all and sees all"!!!.My, first semester, I ended up on probation cause of a D in journalism and a No Credit in Math 70. But, I worked hard and got off of probation, and hardly if ever did I fail a course all the way up to Graduating in June of 1997. What took so lotng, was buying books, studying, taking tests after test and being on Epileptic medicine!! Well, tthats my story so far, I would tell you more but my life currently is on a need to know basis!!
