Crystal's Story
Life
I was always the quiet, shy little girl who nobody noticed. But by High School I got tired of that so I dyed my hair blue and became the loudest person in the class... or at least, the most annoying. That wasn't enough for me so I joined the Marines. But being noticed wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be.
I've learned a lot about myself over the years and I have changed in so many ways... for the better. It's been a good life all in all, and there's plenty more left for me to enjoy. I'm too cheap to go Gold here so if you message me or sign my Guestbook I'll never know.
School
As you can probably see, I went to a lot of schools as a kid. I was at each school for such a short time that most people would not even remember going to school with me. I was the quiet one in the back of the class who hardly anybody noticed. You may remember my sister more than me...she was the one always picking on me. I managed to fly under the radar for most of my school years....Expand for more
The only people who really got to know me were my friends at Rocky Mountain High School, because I was there the longest. That is where I had the most fun. I stopped being so shy and started to open up and be myself. I wish I had done that sooner-maybe school would have been more fun for me. To those of you who do remember me, thank you for being a friend.
Workplace
I have worked at many places in my life. Some more fun than others. There are a few that stand out in my mind. Columbine Care Center East was the one that I enjoyed the most. It was my first job and the one where I made the most friends.
Military
When I was 17 I thought being a Marine was going to be so cool. So I let my recruiter tell me how great it would be and signed up before I graduated from High School. Now, I can see that it was a great experience but it sure wasn't a bed of roses. If I could go back I would probably make the same decision but maybe I would have waited until I was a little older.
