Crysy's Story
Life
Was married, now divorced, but picked up a little four-legged, furry German kitty kat while living abroad. His name is Ludwig pronounced LudVig) after Mad King Ludwig of Bavaria, who built Neuschwanstein Castle (the original Cinderella castle in Europe). My kat (katzen in German) is a king and unfortunately he knows it!
I have been all over! I went to Highland CC for my associates, then transferred to Texas Christian University for my bachelors. After taking a year off, I went back to TCU to start on my Master's and met my ex-husband during that time. After finishing the military school he was currently in, he was stationed in Germany so after a year of dating across the ocean, I packed up and moved to Germany to be closer to him. I worked as an independent contractor for the government at the University of Maryland University College - Mannheim Campus, about an hour from where he was statione...Expand for more
d. Another year later, we were married in Denmark.
In 2003 I graduated with my Master's in Counseling and Personnel Services from Univ of Maryland and in July we moved to Fort Bragg NC. I worked for 3 years at a small private college as first the Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life and later as Residential Coordinator. From there my ex got a promotion to Warrant Officer so after more schooling for him, we were moved to Washington DC. 6 months later he divorced me! I spent a year looking for a job back in my career field and finally ended up out if FAR western Maryland at Frostburg State University. A year later I moved 10 miles away to take a position at a residential junior college in Cumberland.
In 2005 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis but so far have no major impairments. I am, however, on a daily injection, and I HATE NEEDLES!!! I'll be taking them for the rest of my life.
