Life
My Spouse
Used to work with emotionally disabled children.
4th, 5th, and 6th grades at a local Elementary school.
She has been a stay at home Mom for the last almost 4 years with our daughter Rebbecca.
My Pets
Sparky is a 5yr old Dalmation, and is the brawn.
Buddy is a 3yr old Irish Wolfhound / Terrier mix, and is the brains.
Sparky is no longer with us so now Bud rules the coop. Spoiled rotten dog.
My Kids
Brandon is a wonderful kid!! At least that's what everyone tells me. He starts 6th grade this fall.
Brandon is graduating High School this year as a Junior, and will be starting classes at Apollo College this summer.

I am no longer the Svc Man at DCI. I refer to that time as "my period of insanity." I went back to the field as a Field Engineer until Dec 2007. I left DCI after 17+ years. Now I am working at City of Phoenix. I am the Senior Wireless User Technology Specialist. Big title huh? It means I am the lead Tech in my part of the Radio Shop.
College
I had no desire to go to a 4 year college. I opted...Expand for more
to do the trade tech thing insted. I have a TA in Computer Electronics.
Workplace
I started out as an temp installer, installing two-way radios at the City of Phoenix Aviation Department. I worked hard and showed some talent for communications. I spent the next few years as a field tech and learning radio. From there I move onto systems and consoles. I have been all over the southwestern part of the contry installing, upgrading, and repairing them. I even had a stint in Indonesia where we were installing a new radio system for the national police.
Now I am the Service Manager for the shop I have been working for for the last 12+ years.
My job duties for my current position with City of Phoenix are still being defined. There has been no one in my position for longer than my supervisor has been there. That being said, I have a good deal of input on what my duties should be. It really is pretty cool.
We have over 6000 radios that we maintain. I am now responsible for the personality files for the radios as well as the system keys. I am the Key Master.
I love my new job. Less work, more money, better benefits, and I get to be home every night. What's not to love.
