My first house!!!! ........... . 10 August 2001 ...I passed my summer Spanish class! Finally --- it was my 4th attempt in 20 years! ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÿComo esta usted? ÃÂÃÂÃÂÿQue te hace feliz? Becuz I passed I will take the next Spanish course. ..... 19MAY2004.... Still in north Dallas..... All is fairly good. .... 03 AUG 05... Howdy! I became a diabetic on 01JAN05. :( I was in bad shape in December - Whew. Thank Goodness for the VA hospital! ;) Been exercise walking in 2005! About 594 miles so far!!! Lost about 20 pounds so far. I will miss this year's class reunion. :( Maybe I'll see you in 2006/2010. 26 DEC 2005.... Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! I walked 925 miles in 2005. April 1st 2006..... bicycle accident put me in hospital for 4 days! When will I learn? 18AUG06 .... 34 days of 100 degrees or more! Mercy! Hey, I got a real j-o-b! 9-5 for 5 days a week. I am an insurance agency assistant -- it offers lots of computer time and it is only 2.5 miles from my house! 21JUL07...11 months...then "work" (or that job) became a 4-letter word. Oh well, it is close to home with good hours. Ugh. I have to continue. Guess I need to play the Lottery. :)) 04OCT07 Left the insurance job. 14 SEP08 ... Friend found the BOA job for me. April & June work. Kroger Fuel Center experience June 2008. USPS interview in June, training in August & first week of September. 1st day by myself was yesterday - the day Hurricane Ike blew through town! Just a mild breeze here. I had fun! I like the post office job. 23MAR09... I still like the USPS job. Good pay, hours are good; but the schedule changes all the time. Need to be extremely flexible 6 days a week. 15SEP2009... Already 1 year at USPS. Still like it. I have fun. Football season is finally here! Yippie! 18JUL2010...worked 107 hours in past 2 weeks. Paycheck will be great; but, UGH. I like the job but not sooo much work. HOT! I didn't work this much last summer. Yesterday started another week...and I worked 12.5 hours. Not again! 6 days a week is NOT Part-time! LOL. 28SEP2010 ..... 13 days of vacation in August, saw about 40 classmates at reunion, with help of a 2nd cousin I found more cemeteries with my relatives in them , back at work there is still too many hours, tennis elbow is gettng painful. I have fun when I'm doing letter carrier work, but other postal work is not my cup of tea. I think something is gonna' change soon. 22MAR2011...Nothing changed. :(( So I got a Do...Expand for more

Summer of 2011 was waaay too hot.... 47 consecutive days of 100+ degrees; 72 total days of 100 degrees. Dallas Cowboys suck AGAIN. I got Verizon's Triple Play bundle in NOV2011; plus bought a 55-inch TV!!! Today MLK,JR. Holiday is very warm over 70 degrees. 17APR2013... Day Off! Yawhoo! Warm and muggy day but Spring has been weird in the whole country. Tomorrow we are forecasted to be down to 49 degrees in the afternoon. YUCK! Got a new bicycle; hope to ride it to work soon. First week of June 2013 ... vacation in Henry county! Rain has ended but coming again. Chased cows, mowed yard, placed Memorial Day decorations. Puzzles at Sr. Center, Sherry's Friday Fish Fry. Gee, I thought a 9-day vacation would give me plenty of time. Nope. :)))) I had a great time relaxing in water-logged, financially-broke Illinois. Haha. 14 JAN 2015: Update.... Yes, I moved back to Henry County, IL. Much colder here and the snow doesn't melt in 24 hours (like it did in north Texas). I have a lot of work to do on my childhood home and homesite. Antenna TV and no internet at home -- yes, that is ugly; but, it gets me outside to do the work. Did anyone believe we would see fuel below $2 again???? Wow. Cool. Cowboys should have beat Packers, Oh well. It's nice to be back in the playoffs. +++ 20 MAR 2015 +++ Galesburg HyVee for my internet ....after visiting Lane Evans VA Clinic....after $2.299 refuel near Knox College. in town for 6 hours!!! Time to go. :))) Spring arrived an hour ago. Whew. I barely survived my first Winter back in Illinois. It was ugly (to me). +++03 APR 2016+++ Does the wind EVER stop blowing in the Midwest??? Don't remember this from my childhood. Technically, Spring is here BUT..... this first week of April will be chilly in 40s & 50s. Winter doesn't want to let go completely. Still cleaning up the old barnyard and laneway. Maybe only two more loads of junk to junkyards. Rode sister & brother-in-law's 4-wheelers this past Wednesday. First 4-wheeler ride of my life. I topped out at 33MPH in big pasture. Not bad. But for me only a fair weather toy. Today I helped mom clean family plots at Lafayette Cemetery. 10 June 2017... began dating Lisa Goldsmith in May 2016. I proposed, she said yes on 14 AUG 2016. Lisa fought cancer and won 15 AUG 2016 to 30 JAN 2017. YES! XXXXX. 25 April 2018 - Late arriving Spring. I haven't been able to roto-till my garden or Lisa's; now we all are in a hurry to catch up. A month ago, I was elected to be Superintendent of HCVAC. Last September, Lisa & I drove to Niagara Falls & WV. Good trip for our first one. XXXX 05 JAN 2019... a Golden Retriever named Bailey joined the household on the night of 31May2018. My first attempt at growing Sweet Potatoes was wildly unorganized!! The VINES!!! 14-inch snow on Sunday after Thanksgiving, 25-26 NOV. XXXXX Today is 19 June 2019. Well, I guess it is time to end my time on Classmates. $48 and I don't learn too much about my classmates here. I changed my automatic renewal to manual for my upcoming July 2019 renewal. It's been fun. Geez, I still have 13,000 characters remaining. I might still have my Texas phone number of 2 14 . 5 6 4. 1 96 1. Time to finish washing the dishes. 06 July 2019.... spent Independence Day holiday with Lisa... I love her, we moved her sofa, rained in afternoon to prevent trash fire, boo. 5th, I forgot my wallet so she had to buy breakfast, got her vehicle sticker, Farm&Fleet 6 bags of salt & 4 bags of kitty litter, Mel's Diner to visit with Traci. Typing this at 6am, Saturday, the 6th. Goodness. Heehee.
