My story. Life changed so drastically for me the summer between Jr. and Sr. High. My parents divorced, that wasn't so bad, but my mother went nuts, drinking and bringing strange men into our home. Her lack of attention as a mother left me essentially raising myself. I really messed that up for a while. Started at Patricia Stevens Career College, - dropped out. Tried Hillsborough Community College - another drop out. It was like dropping out of life for a while. I finally married Michael McRae, (maybe you remember him?). We had 2 children, our first was a beautiful girl, our second child, Matthew, was born with a heart defect, and died in 1979 at the age of 17 months. One more time for me life changed drastically. I got on my least favorite ride ~ the roller coaster, and stayed on it for years. I did have another child in 1982, another beautiful daughter. I ended up raising my daughters by myself.
