Cynthia's Story
I'm a divorced mother of one son and also an RN. I am a published author in Europe of preliminary findings of a Research Study in Psychiatry. I love working with people with developmental disabilities and mental illness. A long range goal of mine is to aggressively advocate for the DD/MI as possibly a political lobbyist.. I have spoken before the Illinois Appropriations Committee and a vocal disabilities advocate.

icago as a child was by far my favorite. I do remember quite a few fun moments at TFN though. Especially being a D.O. student. When they told me that I was to learn to be a phlebotomist, I think I almost passed out. Sure enough, somehow, with the help of Sue Anderson ( a senior to my junior), I learned the profession (thank you Sue!). That started me on my lifelong journey of working in the medical field.
I am looking forward to the next decade of my life. As retirement from full time working is fast approaching!!!
