Cynthia's Story
This is to announce the publication of my first book, Stir With A Wooden Spoon.
It is a collection of short stories that focus on a family's tradition for making lemonade. It also points out the importance of oral traditions in the African American family. The book is available at onlne bookstores such as Borders, Amazon and Barnes & Nobel. I used my pen name, CynDar McDaniel for the publication. Check it out at your leisure.

ery Girl's Diary is due for release about mid July. This too is a shortstory collection. The reader gets to take a peek at the diary entries of African American women without the fear of being caught snooping. The collection is comprised of 18 stories and I am sure that you will find a character with whom you can identify or you will know somebody from Madison who is just like that character!
