Life

I have five children, ranging in age from 36 to 20. Two are step-children and three were born to me. I have two grandsons, age 12 and 3 and a 1 month old granddaughter. I live in Kansas City, MO. It's big and friendly but too conservative for me.
School
I would never go back in time. What? Have the opportunity to screw it up again? No, I'll take what I have and be wiser for it. I think Janice Krambeer was the most inspiring, best teacher I ever had in high school. I'd say Bonnie Reitz was at Riverland....Expand for more

Workplace
Right now I am on Disabilty, Social Security. I've had many, many jobs. My first was as a car hop at Park Drive-in. A long, long time ago. I worked as a dishwasher and a waitress at The Wagon Wheel. I was a switchboard operator, a purchasing agent, a nurses aide, an auditor at a hotel, a choreographer for a college choir, a compliance auditor/manager, a University registrar transcript auditor, a pharmacy technician and diabetic patient educator before I became disabled and began to write full time.
Military
No personal military service. I've been married to two Viet Nam vets. (I still am to one of them,) Does that count?
