Cynthia's Story
Life
After graduating, I went to Medical Assistant's school in Manhattan. I met my first husband in the city and we married and had one son,David. Was divorced a few years later. Started working as a medical transcriber in a pathology lab. Married my second husband in 1975. Went to work for a subsidiary of Reuters and worked my way up to a position as a systems analyst. tired of working in QA and went back to school. Received a masters in Library and Information Science in 1998. Met my third husband on the LIRR and was married in 1997. I have one biological child and three step-children. Together we have seven grandchildren. We are living happily on the South Fork of Long Island. I currently work as an Adult Reference librarian in a public library on LI with a specialty in Local History. Plan to retire to the mountains of N. Carolina.
