Daina's Story
Life
After graduating from FDR I left for the USAF. I spent 9 years in the military traveling the world and having the time of my life. I left the Air Force in 1992 and started working for Special Olympics Hawaii. I lived in Hawaii for a few years and then decided it was time for a move again, this time it was to Virginia. we left Virginia in 2000 and moved to Hawaii (I was so glad to be back). I am back working for Special Olympics again and enjoy it so much. I do not know where life or the Marine Corps will take us from here, but I do know that wherever that may be, that I look forward to the adventure.
Workplace
I currently work for Special Olympics Hawaii as their Volunteer Coordinator. I love my job, not only do I get to work with people, but I also know that what I do has a direct positive influence in the life of all our athletes.
