Dala's Story
I am DaLa Anderson Weems, to those who know me. If you don't please do not bother. I am 22 years old on Oct. 12 of this year. I am happily married, and we have one son, Sherman Weems Jr. and another due in March. I am a Home Health Aid for Oxford Healthcare here in Gulfport. I graduated from Job Corps with my degree in Construction, and also completed two years of certified Architectural Drafting at Harrison Central HS. I completed two years of Political Science and Government from Copiah Lincoln CC where I met my husband. I then transferred to the University of Phoenix, where I will recieve my Associate's in Healthcare Administration in March...I stay busy. I like working, cooking, and taking care of my little family. We are building a house. I just got a new car, and my husband got a new truck. He works for the water treatment plant in West Biloxi, and also has his own Lawn Service business on the side. We are pretty happy, and having a great y...Expand for more

I always wanted to be a Architect when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Great idea. As it turns out, they were Right, but I wasn't.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have deoderant, spare toothbrush, and a smile to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a guest bedroom. My dream home would be solar powered.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50,000,000 of it to my family, then spend the rest on bills, a house and retirement.
My current age is 22. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be still in college, and immature. I was so completely neutral..
In 10 years, I hope to be out of college. I'm going to get there by doubling up on classes and studying hard.
My first job was at Mc Donalds, where I got paid 6.50 hr to be cute and take money. What I remember most about it is I loved it. It was easy, and I got to meet all kinds of people..
