Dale's Story
Life
Hi! After leaving East, I went to the University of Tennessee where I tried to become a professional student. I completed both my BS and MS in Chemical Engineering there and had a blast doing it. I had joined the Co-op Engineering program where I worked every other quarter at a manufacturing facility. I spent time in Athen,GA making the "stay dry lining" for Pampers as well as working in Columbia,SC in a nuclear fuel fabrication plant for Westinghouse. I grad school, I taught Chem.E lab as well as a Basic programming class for freshmen engineers.
After leaving UT, I moved to Framingham, MA and went to work for Aspen Technology as a Customer support engineer. I changed careers within the company and started down the IT path. I was working as the Global Network Manager for the company until June when a thrid round lay-off finally caught up with me. Worked in a few jobs since then but am currently in transition again and am spending the summer job hunting.

g around the world with my job. I have traveled to many parts of the far east (Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bang Kok, Sidney, Melborne, Singapore, Tasmania, New Zealand) as well as many different places in Europe (Sweden, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Germany). I love to travel and very much enjoy meeting new people and trying out the local food.
I am currently not married and spend most of my free time playing volleyball, tennis, watching movies and playing guitar. I also sing in the choir at a local church.
I have recently started a hobby by setting up a 125 gal salt water fish tank with fish and live coral. It is really an amazing hobby but a bit time consuming and expensive. I had no idea how many different types of coral there are and how colorful they can be. Joined a local group of folks who maintain reef tanks to learn more and cut down on the expenses of getting new corals.
I have had a great time catching up with friends on Classmates and would love to hear from you.
