Dale's Story
Life
Hello everyone. Yes it is me ! Love to hear from anyone who wants to write. I am currently retired just North of Stanley, New Brunswick. I am establishing a retreat center on 100 acres here, with cabins and a formal kyudo venue. It is called Shibata Meadows Shambhala Retreat Center Inc. , a charitable non -profit New Brunswick Corporation.
I divorced in March of 2011 and have since married my childhood sweetheart who was also from Marysville, Valerie Thomas. Having fallen in love all over again, these last few years have been glorious and very special. We are members of the world wide Shambhala community ( you can google it).
Two children, oldest out of college (Wellesley College)and married having had a whole pipe band to march her in to her wedding. The second has graduated in Asian Studies ( Earlham College) and he is teaching English as a Second Language in Japan, and surprise, surprise, has fallen in love with a Japanese lady!
My photo? Not to worry, havn't quite gone off the deep end yet, but my intersts in Eastern culture led me to practice Zen Archery and Kami no Michi for a decade or so, so that explains the garb.
Life is short. If you have even a twinge to write me, please do so.
I have changed , I think, from the brash, self-centered youth that many of you may have known.I guess we all have changed somewhat!

interests ? I began playing the Scottish Highland bagpipes a few years ago and I have been bitten.Other than that, life is mundane, exciting, challenging, and very full.
I have found many of my friends, notably Valerie Thomas and others. We would be happy to have your visit here. Terry King, Richard Carpenter and Dave Clark. If you read this, drop me a line!
Thank you for reading this and do get in touch.
