Dale's Story

Life Met my spouse: Stanford, on a blind date. She is now a retired professor from Whitworth College and Washington State University. My Pets Black lab named Sara who is about as friendly as dogs can get. My Kids Two great young men, two sharp daughters-in-law and three grandsons. n. My Job Retired colonel from the USAF after 28 years of civil engineering. Registered Professional Engineer and retired (again) from 7 years as an associate professor teaching Construction Management, Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Washington State University, Pullman and Spokane, WA. Now working as a ski instructor at Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border. Life is a blast!

1986 and GP50 3821 hustles a Roadrailer out of Belen. If I have the story correct, Santa Fe thought it should have a one man crew and the union thought otherwise. So as I understand it this train was manned by management
