More about Dan:"Worked for Lockheed Martin Energy Systems contractor for the Department of Energy nuclear weapons section. First project was updating inspection mythology of weapons components.
Changed my field to computer science and created computerized documentation storage and retrieval systems. Designed and installed systems for financial and payroll and waste monitoring mandated by the EPA and DOE. Assisted installation of 1,094 node super computer using standard equipment.
Worked for BP for about two years merging their computer systems to Amoco Oil after BP took it over. Wrote policies and procedures how systems would be built and what time of customizations needed for each upstream decisions. Spent about a year on the road. Best job I ever had.
Retired in 2007 and have just having the time of my life for a change.".
