Dan's Story
Born in Lubbock and raised in Post, Texas. Graduated as a Civil Engineer from Texas Tech and retired in 2002 after 39 1/2 years with the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, working in design, construction and facilities management in Atlanta, GA, Big Bend N.P.,TX, Cape Cod N.S, MA, Carlsbad Caverns N.P., NM, Glacier N.P., MT, Glen Canyon N. Married to Lynda, a caring and patient lady, since 1969. We have three children; Michael, Kimberly and Andrea, and two grandchildren; Daniel and Katelyn.
After retiring at Carlsbad National Park in 2002, Lynda and I moved to the Hill Country outside San Antonio Texas in 2011 where we enjoy travel and visits with and from family and friends.
